SPRITE+ has launched a series of short virtual events for Members and Expert Fellows to highlight potential funding opportunities for research and knowledge transfer in digital security, privacy, identity and trust. The second in this series will be with the team leading the National Research Centre on Privacy, Harm Reduction and Adversarial Influence Online, REPHRAIN (see https://www.rephrain.ac.uk/).
REPHRAIN would like to invite you to join us in introducing our capability to academics across the country. REPHRAIN is an £8.6 million three-year UKRI Research Centre of Excellence focussed on the protection of citizens online. This activity is designed to build and lead the UK’s world-leading interdisciplinary community on this mission and provide a clear single front door to engage and build capacity with government, industry and citizens. Join us to gain an insight into the work that we are doing and to learn about our upcoming funding call. The REPHRAIN Strategic Funding Call is for projects that relate to REPHRAIN’s missions and research challenges with particular emphasis on topics that have emerged from scoping work undertaken. These topics will be presented at the event with further details issued to participants in advance. Total funding of £500K is available. It is expected that REPHRAIN will fund a number of small/medium projects running between 3 and 12 months duration.
Time: Wednesday 28 April, 10:30 – 12:00
Format: One hour briefing plus time for Q&A, hosted via Zoom
Please register via Eventbrite here. Please note that the list of attendees will be shared with the REPHRAIN Team so that follow-up communications can be coordinated.
Call for Events is now open! We're supporting Members and Expert Fellows to lead activities that explore aspects of TIPS in the Digital Economy. We will help to organise the activity with up to £5,000 to cover the associated costs.
