SPRITE+ is looking to recruit two early career researchers (ECRs) to join its Advisory Board membership. One ECR will represent social aspects of digital trust, identity, privacy and security (TIPS) and the other ECR will represent technical aspects of TIPS (although we acknowledge that a single ECR may represent both aspects). At SPRITE+ we consider ECRs to include PhD students through to first time lecturers/professional practitioners (within the first 5 years). This is an unpaid role, but offers excellent personal development and networking opportunities and allows members to contribute to the experience offered to ECRs through the SPRITE+ programme.
You will join the SPRITE+ Advisory Board which comprises members from a range of organisations from government, regulators, industry, law enforcement and academia. The Board’s role is to: provide advice to the Director and Management Team on the NetworkPlus’s strategic direction and activities; promote SPRITE+ with stakeholder groups, and; suggest ways of extending and developing the network. As an ECR member, you will offer insight and guidance on these issues from an ECR perspective. You will also contribute to the wider discussion of the Network and of Trust, Identity, Privacy and Security.
