SPRITE+ has launched a series of short virtual events for Members and Expert Fellows to highlight potential funding opportunities for research and knowledge transfer in digital security, privacy, identity and trust. The third in this series was with the team leading the ESRC Digital Security by Design Social Science Hub+ (Discribe).
We were delighted to welcome Discribe Director Professor Adam Joinson (University of Bath) to introduce the programme and details of the upcoming funding call. Following Adam's presentation, attendees had the opportunity to ask questions about Discribe activities and the call. We were joined by 53 individual attendees from 42 different organisations including both academic researchers and stakeholder representatives.
The commissioning call is for substantive research projects around our four key topic areas:
It is intended that the total amount available for this Call will be up to £800,000 at 100 percent full Economic Cost (fEC), of which 80 per cent fEC (i.e., up to £640,000) will be made available to successful applicants.
See more information about the call and apply here.
