SPRITE+ meet-up with the London Office for Rapid Cybersecurity Advancement (LORCA)
26 November 2021 (13.30-17.00), LORCA, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, E20 3BS
After a long COVID lockdown, our objective is to safely bring our cybersecurity community together to reignite our face-to-face networking initiatives, jointly discuss emerging research challenges and opportunities, and strengthen networks amongst our academics, stakeholders, and industrial partners.
Our regional meeting at LORCA will predominantly focus on networking and will be comprised of:
Elevator pitches by our SPRITE+ Expert Fellows, introducing their expertise and research focus.
Elevator pitches by our partners and start-ups outlining cybersecurity related challenges that they target through innovation, services and products.
One invited industrial speaker, Dr John Hurley, Senior Staff Engineer at Nvidia discussing emerging cybersecurity related challenges faced by corporate R&D teams and his perspective on emerging research opportunities.
Long coffee breaks, enabling you to make new connections and engage with our elevator pitch speakers.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to meet up with research end users from a wide range of organisations as well as to network with academic colleagues in the London area.
Call for Events is now open! We're supporting Members and Expert Fellows to lead activities that explore aspects of TIPS in the Digital Economy. We will help to organise the activity with up to £5,000 to cover the associated costs.
