Digital Security by design have announced a series of events that will take place over 2022. Here is a rundown of all that is to come in the upcoming months:
23 February 2022, 10:00-12:30: Digital Business Meetup - Cyber Security

15 March 2022, 16:30-19:30: How can future hardware make our software more secure?
"Join to learn about Digital Security by Design (DSbD) - an experimental new approach to addressing vulnerabilities in modern computer systems. At this tech talks and networking event, you’ll hear about cutting-edge research and prototype technology development from industry leaders and researchers from Arm and the University of Cambridge. This technology is designed to reduce vulnerabilities in modern systems and change the way we develop software and hardware."

Digital Security by Design Four Nations Roadshows
DSbD are also hosting four roadshow events across the four nations, focusing on local business and academic communities, with each event addressing a different theme. The events are as follows:
- England: Co-hosted by SPRITE+ - 21 February 2022, 10:00-12:30, Bletchley Park: The history of computers
"At this event, participants will hear about the Story of Computing, from the first attempts to use machines to solve mathematical problems to the IT which now pervades everyday life. Participants will hear about the evolution of computing and why it is so important to look back in order to move forwards. Attendees will also hear from Professor John Goodacre, UKRI DSbD Challenge Director on the reliance of computers in todays’ society." For more information and to register, click here.
- Scotland: 3 March 2022, 10:00-12:30, Glasgow: Exploring new technologies in cyber security
SPRITE+ Expert Fellow, Dr Daniel Dresner, will speak at this event which will run in partnership with Cyber Scotland Week.
"This event will give participants an opportunity to hear about the world of cyber security from academic, government and industry experts. Speakers will discuss the current status of cyber security and highlight why a radical update of cyber security design starting from the chip upwards is required." - Wales: 8 March 2022, 10:00-12:30, Newport: Strengthen the foundatinos and make the world more secure
"At this event, participants will learn about the research and development project, Morello and on the technology application of DSbD and the value it can bring to different industry sectors. You will also hear about the importance of partnerships and how to get involved in the DSbD Technology Access Programme and be first to hear about how your organisation can access this early-stage prototype technology."
