Whilst attending Cyber UK in Belfast in April, we took the opportunity to visit the Titanic Centre, our venue for the SPRITE+ Conference next month.
It exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t wait to welcome you all there!
To make sure you don’t miss out, we’ve extended the Early Bird registration period until 14 May. Register here.
The spaces we’ll be in are outstanding. Plenary and parallel sessions will take place in the spectacular Titanic Suite, where presenters will speak from a podium on the replica Grand Staircase. (Make sure you get a photo on the stairs!)
We also have the Britannic Suite for parallel sessions and workshops, and the Olympic Suite for refreshments and posters.
Upstairs we’ve secured the Bridge Suite as a quiet space for those who want to take some time out from the presentations or for small networking meetings.
The views from the conference space are amazing, including across the Titanic Slipways – where Titanic was built and launched. (And also the studio spaces where some of Game of Thrones was filmed – though there’s not much to see there any more…)
We’ve been putting the finishing touches to our programme, which features an eclectic mix of topics from across the technical / social spectrum, including communicating cybersecurity, digital trust, cyberthreats and mitigations, digital identities, future technologies and much more.
Throughout the two days we will have more than 30 panel talks, a dozen lightning presentations, three workshops, three demos, and a room full of posters. And of course we are thrilled that our distinguished keynote Professor Ciaran Martin (former Director of the National Cyber Security Centre and now Professor of Practice at Oxford University’s Blavatnik School) will talk to us about the future of cybersecurity.
Check out the draft programme.
From breakfast pastries and buffet lunches on both days, to a prosecco reception and sit-down dinner in the Titanic Suite on day one, you’ll dine like first class passengers.
Between the end of day 1 and the reception and dinner that evening, you will have free access to the recently refurbished Titanic Museum galleries (normally £25!), or you can wander outside by the river and the slipways, or simply relax in the Bridge Suite.
****All of this is included in the registration fee, which for SPRITE+ members is just £50 until 14 May (£75 after that) ****

We have secured several rooms at a reduced rate at the Premier Inn Cathedral Quarter for 27 and 28 June. These are available to delegates on a first come first served basis and will cost a total of £253 for both nights.
If you would like to book these through us, please email admin@spritehub.org and we will let you know more details.
SPRITE+ Members from an eligible UK Higher Education Institution can apply to our access fund available for help with costs associated with attending the conference. Read more about our policy and how to apply here.
We can’t wait to see you in June! Until then, if you have any questions, just drop us a line at admin@spritehub.org
