EPSRC Digital Economy and Digital Security and Resilience NetworkPluses


SPRITE+ is one of several EPSRC NetworkPluses under the themes of Digital Economy and Digital Security and Resilience. NetworkPlus awards aim to bring together new research communities and identify, prioritise and develop future research challenges. They undertake a number of different activities in order to do this, including secondments, workshops and pilot projects. Internet of Food Things

A network that brings together data and computer scientists, chemists, and economists to investigate how artificial intelligence, data analytics and emerging technologies can enhance the digitalisation of the UK food supply chain.

Human Data Interaction

A network for practical system design and for more general critique/analysis of systems’ design and use. It goes beyond the idea of ‘transparency’ of data sharing/analytics, to address subsequent choices, actions and effects.

Not-Equal / Social Justice

A network that aims to foster new collaborations in order to create the conditions for digital technology to support social justice, and develop a path for inclusive digital innovation and a fairer future for all in and through the digital economy.

Digitally Enhanced Advanced Services

A network of businesses and researchers working together to enable a coordinated programme of research with a focus on how a product or service is used rather than the product or service that is delivered. This represents a major change in how firms earn money.
