EPSRC Connected Everything feasibility study funding call

Connected Everything is looking to fund its first round of feasibility studies. Projects can be between 6 and 12 months in length, and should complete before the end of June 2021. They are likely to fund up to five projects of up to a maximum value of £60,000 at full Economic Cost (fEC), with funding to be awarded at 80% fEC. Deadline: 20 January 2020. Trustworthy Autonomous Systems - Research Nodes Call

Up to £20.5 million (at 80% fEC please see here) funded through the Strategic Priorities Fund (SPF), is available to support seven research nodes (approximately £3 million UKRI contribution each) for 42 months, starting from 1 October 2020 (fixed start date). PaCCS research student 3-months placement

PaCCS is looking for a research student for a three month placement with the TISC Report on supply chains beginning in April 2020. “To analyze data on global supply chains (held by / accessible to TISC Report) to identify and understand indicators of potential criminal activity (corruption, money laundering, bribery, modern slavery)."

Expert Fellows Meeting Results

At our first annual Expert Fellows meeting, we engaged in a series of workshop exercises and some lively debate, to settle on four broad Challenge Themes.

SPRITE+ Team will be away for a couple of festive weeks

Reminder to Create and Activate Your SPRITEHub Profile

Please use this link to create your profile: https://spritehub.org/register/

Once you’ve created your profile, you’ll receive an email within a couple of days, inviting you to activate your account on SPRITEHub. Please check your spam email if you don’t receive it. After you’ve activated your account, you’ll be able to log in. Around 200 people have already signed up and more are joining every day.

When you set up your profile you’ll have the opportunity to add details of your interests and experience, a bit about yourself, and details of any websites and social media presence you have. Profiles are searchable, so as more people join, you’ll be able to find people who share your interests.
