RISCS Newsletter - December/January

Research Institute for Sociotechnical Cyber Security has published its newsletter covering the invite for RISCS Showcase (18 Mar 2021, 10:00-12:00), New Emerging Insights Paper (our SPRITE+ Expert Fellow Jason Nurse is one of the authors!), 2FA roll-out within a HE institution, Fifth Annual VeTSS Call for Proposals, and RISCS Project in Pulse December '20 edition. RISCS Project Research Team has also won the Best Paper Award (inc. our SPRITE+ Expert Fellow Shujun Li!).

SPRITE+ Showcase Highlights

We hosted our first event of 2021 in the form of a virtual showcase, including presentations from the SPRITE+ funded Challenge Working Groups and short Project Teams, breakout discussions, Research Snapshots (posters and lightning talks) and networking.

We welcomed close to 100 individual attendees over the course of the day, representing a range of disciplines, career stages and organisations from academia and professional practice.

We’ve created this very short feedback questionnaire. If you have a spare 5 minutes, we’d be grateful if you could please share your views. Your feedback will be used to help us plan future events.

In case you were unable to join us, we are pleased to share the outputs in our blog (link below).
