Emma Boakes joins the SPRITE+ team in 'Mapping the TIPS Landscape'

Emma Boakes has joined SPRITE+ as a Research Associate this month.

She is currently mapping the trust, identity, privacy and security research landscape (TIPS) with the aim of developing a roadmap for the TIPS community. This desk-based research identifies the TIPS research requirements highlighted by Government, industry, and academia, whilst establishing if these needs have been addressed by research or funding opportunities. This will determine where there are gaps in TIPS research and, therefore, what the research priorities are for TIPS moving forward. There may be an opportunity in the coming weeks to supplement and validate the findings from this initial research with interviews with those in the TIPS community.

Welcome Emma! If you would like to get in touch regarding her project, please contact emma.boakes@manchester.ac.uk.
